I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) Graduate student intern currently beginning my practicum and internship training. I am passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, with a particular interest in perinatal mental health, trauma, infertility, parenthood, and life transitions. I also value working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences as they move toward healing, growth, and overall well-being.

As a wife and mother of four, my personal experiences have deeply shaped my passion for this field. Having experienced secondary infertility myself, I understand how isolating and emotionally overwhelming these journeys can feel. During that season of life, I often wished I had found a supportive community and safe space to process those experiences. That perspective continues to inspire my desire to walk alongside others with compassion, empathy, and understanding.

I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. My approach is primarily person-centered and grounded in authenticity, empathy, and cultural awareness. I believe in meeting clients where they are while honoring each person’s unique story, identity, and lived experiences.

My clinical training has included developing skills in active listening, therapeutic relationship-building, multicultural awareness, and suicide prevention advocacy. While my foundation is person-centered, I also want to incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and integrate trauma-informed care principles as I continue to build my clinical training, to help clients develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful change.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending quality time playing games with my family, listening to music and podcasts, and exploring creative outlets whenever I can. I value connection, compassion, and creating spaces where people feel comfortable being themselves.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and it is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward healing, self-understanding, and hope. You do not have to navigate difficult seasons alone.
